Río Celeste is located in the Tenorio Volcano National Park. It’s the most biodiverse protected area of the Arenal Tempisque Conservation Area, where socio-environmental tourism and conservation activities are carried out.

San Ramón City: Known as the “city of the presidents and poets”, San Ramon has been home to many of the political and literary leaders of Costa Rica, including four former presidents and architects of the modern Costa Rican state. The most well-known of these icons is Jose (Don Pepe) Figueres Ferrer, one of Costa Rica’s most influential leaders. During his first term in office, he abolished the country’s army, nationalized its banking sector, granted women, and blacks the right to vote.

Stop at Reserva de Aves Neotropicales Los Cusingos, located between San Isidro de El General and Buenos Aires for incomparable birding on the 350 acre (142 ha) section.
